Bucket List.

After finding out I had a year to fill, my mind went crazy..... what do I do with a year? It's exciting and almost felt some pressure not to waste this year before I become preoccupied with studying and more studying. So I kept asking my patients, if they had a year to give, what would they do? The firs thing they suggested was travel and the next: run a half marathon! In my head, I was like " easy for you to say, you ain't running it". But the reality, something deep inside of me wanted to.

So here is the training plan I am using and my progress from today!

OH, did I mention I only have 7 more weeks to train? Most people say it's doable. I agree, but it's been so much fun training for it. I die a bit during, but after, it feels good! I make sure I split the week up with a short, medium, and long run and include strengthening in between. Especially emphasizing glute, core, and ankle strengthening stability. So I've been using that glute work out ( Leg day 1 workout) and modify it and work on small things like balance as well! AND LOTS OF STRETCHING!

Enjoy :)
