Take Heart

When fear takes its hold and shames makes you hide,

when condemnation’s voice is unrelenting and you’re not where you think you should be,

when grace and mercy feels like they’re at their end

Fix your eyes on the fountain that never dries

The grace and hope that never cease,

The mercy that is new every morning,

And the cross that says when you are free, you are free indeed

And to believe and know that Jesus knows every single thing and yet does not grow weary, nor his patience for you cease

He is for you and with you and will never forsake you

Take heart, he will make all things new

My steadfast love never ends for you
